Ibuildings privacy and cookie statement

Your privacy is very important to Ibuildings. We therefore comply with the relevant laws and regulations on privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

This means we:

  • Clearly define our purposes before we process your personal data, via this privacy and cookie statement.
  • Store as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes.
  • Explicitly request permission for the processing of your personal data, should permission be required.
  • Take the necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties who process personal data on our behalf.
  • Respect your rights, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data processed by us.

Your information is safe with us and we will always use it properly. This privacy and cookie statement explains what we do with information we learn about you at the website

With our contact forms you can ask us questions or make inquiries.

For this we use your specified name, e-mail address and telephone number. We have a legitimate interest in this. We will retain this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response and six months thereafter. This way we can easily retrieve the information in case of follow-up questions.

Provision to other companies or institutions

With the exception of the parties mentioned in this privacy statement, we will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. if the police demand this in case of a suspicion of a crime).

Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Plausible to track how visitors use our website. We do this in a privacy friendly way.

Through our website a cookie is placed by the American company Google, as part of the Analytics service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

The information that Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not provided. The information is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google states it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is participating in the Privacy Shield program of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.


Security of personal data is very important to us. To protect your privacy, we take the following measures:

  • Access to personal data is protected with a user name and (strong and unique) password.
  • We take physical measures such as locks and safes to protect access to the systems in which personal data is stored.
  • We use secure connections (SSL ) which shields all information between you and our website when you enter personal data.
  • We have a responsible disclosure policy to report security issues.

Additionally, we have an information security and quality policy.

Changes to this privacy statement

If our website changes, we may also change this privacy statement. So always pay attention to the date of publication and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to notify you of any changes.

Access, modify and delete your data

If you have any questions or want to know what personal information we hold about you, you can always contact us.

You have the following rights:

With your request, we may ask you to identify yourself by sending a valid identification document, to ensure that you are the correct person to whom the personal data belongs. It is important that you protect your BSN and passport photo.

We will comply with your request within 30 days. However, this period may be extended for reasons relating to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request. If we extend this period, we will inform you in good time.

File a complaint

If you feel that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to submit a complaint to the regulator, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA).
